Panama City Youth Orchestra
About Us
Enriching young lives through the power of music.
Our Mission
Why We Exist
Our mission is to enrich the lives of young people within a musical community. We provide the finest possible training, practice, and performance opportunities — enabling our students to learn, share, and enjoy the power of music. The Panama City Youth Orchestra is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
PCYO brings together students from different schools, homeschooling backgrounds, and private studios across the region — creating a collaborative environment that many students would not otherwise experience. The skills developed here extend well beyond music: discipline, listening, confidence, and teamwork carry into academics and life.
The Youth Orchestra is open to students from any teacher. Tuition is kept intentionally low, and all leadership is volunteer — so the focus stays on the music.
"The skills developed here extend well beyond music — discipline, listening, confidence, and teamwork carry into academics and life."
